The famous Rich Jerk program. I have tried it out for myself.

The price of this program has dropped over the years. Started out around $200, it was about $50 a while ago. Now it costs just under $10. I don't know what that means, does it mean this smug fellow's business is decreasing or does he just want a lot more customers? I don't know, and don't care. I can be a jerk too :p

Being only $10 I wanted to give it a go after hearing about it for so long (I actually paid $20, $10 extra for the mp3's which are not necessary to buy).

So I paid the $10 and got my Rich Jerk e-book.You get an opportunity to get a "free" website too (must sign up with his host of choice), and there are other bits to it, but it pretty much revolves around the e-book.

So what are my findings? The e-book has loads of valuable information. Very useful. There are many different ideas, one being about using unusual advertising strategies. It's all about thinking outside the square. He gives tips to succeeding with eBay, website revenue basically. He also lists wholesalers, and other online marketing and business ideas. There is a section that, while probably very effective, seems morally questionable (creating hope and fear to sell a product). But I overlook for now, as you do not have to resort to such tactics, there is much more in the e-book.

If I have time, I will try the website deal also and let you know my findings.

Yes folks, you can use his teachings to actually sell his product, resulting in a win-win situation for you and the jerk. Win-win-win if people who join through you make money also. At least you know they can't lose much. It's a packet of cigarettes, who can't afford $10? I can be quite cheap (I mean frugal...) and even I gave it a shot. He's a clever little jerk.

After becoming an affiliate, you're supposed to make 2 sales and you get your money back. Anything after is profit, plus you have the e-book, which is rather informative. You put ads on your website and people do indeed join. See the Rich Jerk ads on this page? They look like that. Very attention-grabbing.

His whole program and moniker is attention-grabbing. He thinks outside the box. That's probably why he's rich. A jerk, but still.... he's rich...

This idea is closely related to the previous way to make money through your blog. The difference is that in this case the intellectual property you’re selling is just part of or incidental to the blog you’re writing; it’s not the raison d’etre for the blog. For instance, you might have a blog about beekeeping and be selling an ebook about how to build a mason bee house on your pages.

So the answer is, yes, you can make money from your blog. And with blogging becoming increasingly popular, there will be even more opportunities for making money from your blog coming – ideas that haven’t even been thought of yet. For the moment, for maximum income, you will need to focus on multiple income streams and perhaps even multiple blogs.
